The 13th Asian Federation of Sports Medicine Congress is going to take place from 25th to 28th September this year in Malaysia. Malaysia is being considered as the most suitable destination for the event because of its ideal location and because of the fact that Kuala Lumpur is easily accessible by all the major airlines across the continent.
The aim of the 13th Asian Federation of Sports Medicine Congress is to bring forth research by the best researchers of the industry and enlighten the attendees with the expert speakers from all over Asia. All the plenary presenters will be preparing full review papers of the given keynotes talks and other members of the organization can also bring forth papers for consideration of being presented in front of the congress.

The event also aims at organizing around eight pre-congress workshops on 25 September which will cover a number of topics related to Taping and Doping. The workshops will aim at golf, soccer, tennis and cricket specifically. This advanced biomechanics workshops will cover a number of aspects of the sports as well as the techniques. The workshop is going to benefit the players and coaches as well as the sports administrators.
Apart from that, there are going to be several other workshops including Team physician Course, AFSM University of Malaya Sports Rehabilitation Course, Taping & Bandaging Seminar and AFSM University of Malaya Emergency Field Medicine Course.
